The girls are 16 and ready to take their first road trip. In their new Mustang (which every American kid gets on their sixteenth birthday) they head off which some friends for the Winter Olympic Games in Utah. Of course the friends include future-toner Toast and a token cute boy but as usual the relationships are handled better in this than in most teen films. This is perhaps because the boys are exceedingly irritating but heck at least the girls aren't falling for it. Also, of course, there trips are made increasingly difficult when their brand new Mustang is nicked (after which their parents front for plane tix?), the boys blow their tires and they all get on wrong planes. Finally there's some skiing action at the end as well as a cannonball contest. Rockin'! Keep an eye for the migrant labour sequence...weird.
